Beaujolais-Chorizo Bread
Living far away from a dear friend can be challenging (I NEED YOU TO COME HANG OUT WITH ME RIGHT NOW OH WAIT YOU'RE IN A DIFFERENT TIME ZONE) and when your dear friend is a freakin' genius baker and you're a carbohydrate junkie, it's maddening.
For these reasons I am extremely excited that my pal Hadyn Kihm, aka "The Bread Maiden," is coming to Houston this weekend. We have lots on our agenda (much of which involves food) including a bread-making lesson. Hadyn runs bread camps back home in Virginia and now she will be my very own visiting sourdough scholar.
